Bush lies, and the parrots defend it.

<I have shot this one down before. Might as well do it with you. >

Oh. really? I'm not at all surprised that a Faux News trained parrot like you is trying once again to defend the indefensible.

< If a reporter asks a question to the President, is he required iyo to divulge a national secret that has to do with our National Security or be considered a liar? >

Oh, so now you are posting a deception to cover Bush's lie?

"Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so. It's important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution."

That is a direct copy from White House transcripts. Just what was the question? The staement was volunteered by Bush.

< Even if you say yes to both, your position is ridiculous. It would require the elimination of all secret programs. >

Yet another deception by using the straw man technique. Rush and Hannity would be proud of you. Nobody ever said that there shouldn't be wiretaps, but that they should be done with oversight by the courts, before or AFTER, as Bush promised, but lied about. You know very well that there would be no impedence to the wiretaps if it was reported to the courts afterwards.

< I think that only the haters charactarize not divulging national secrets as a lie. It is not surprising, but a little unsettling. But when you don't have much, trash those you hate. >

How clever of you to use yet another Rush technique, that of accusing anybody who wants to protect the Constitution, that Bush swore to uphold, by smearing them. You are a perfect example of a right wing goose-stepping parrot. Thanks for exposing yourself so clearly.
