(Still, it does tend to settle matters in the political sense --- just look at the US's civil war --- and the resolutions 'stick', unlike foreign-imposed political solutions....) That's all ancient history though" Actually... that tactic historically has a WHOLE LOT BETTER success rate then trying to occupy foreign lands does....
