Excellent points. Most socialized program of all is our "ownership society", easy zero down financing for property and gentrification of our cities with new high end condos controlled by speculators. No real economy or jobs created long term because of all this. Our kids are now zombies growing up in McMansions spending all day and night on the internet or watching hip hop videos on MTV or reality shows on their 200 channel satellite dish. But the greatest wealth still concentrated in America at the higher end while most everyone else here is unaware and continues to take a step back even if property appreciation has cushioned the blow till now. End game still uncertain for the true haves in this country
