You are a LIAR and you know it.

Calm down Sylvester.. I know it's difficult to called on the carpet for defending a despot...

But even you can't reasonably deny that both Hugo and Fidel have a fabulous working relationship and that Chavez admires both Castro and Che Guevara. Their friendship is widely reported.

Btw, Hitler was a democratically elected leader, as well...

Of course, then he preceded to do the same things that Chavez has done, namely change the structure of the government.

Now gosh darn it... It appears that Chavez took a note out of Hitler's play book and had an "enabling act" provision passed.

And Hugo certainly took advantage of that enabling act just before its expiration.

In Venezuela, an enabling act was passed in mid-2000 by Hugo Chávez enabling him to rule by decree for one year. Chávez did not take advantage of this act until shortly before its expiration, when he passed 49 decrees in rapid succession, many of them highly controversial.

So this your boy Sylvester.. Good 'ol "man of the people" Hugo Chavez... Who's scared of the media to the point where tries to limit what they can broadcast during the 18 hour "prime time" slots..

Where Venezuela, once a country with one of the most free and outspoken journalistic credentials is being threatened and coerced by a man who can't handle criticism and condemnation for the abuses and corruption he has brought with his administration..

But hey.. your "boy" is great when it comes to creating dossiers on the people voting in Venezuela. I guess in YOUR version of "democracy" the government has a right to know how you voted:

And let's see where Amnesty International stands with regard to Venezuela and it's enlightened leadership:

And how about Human Rights Watch:

You can call me a liar all you want Sylvester... But facts are a STUBBORN THING...

And here you are.. all full of your "bleeding heart enthusiasm" for Hugo, when at the very same time he's undermining and destroying the very democracy you claim to believe in..

Of course.. Maybe your version of Democratic Republic more closely resembles that of Kim Jong Il.. (here's a secret.. He's been "democratically" elected too... ;0)

Hawkmoon has difficulty making rational arguments. He talks about freedom and shining the light but then participates (FOR PROFIT) in an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation and the murdering of its people and the destruction of its property.

Amazing how delusional such an individual can be...isn't it?

It's always the ones who fly the flag highest and scream loudest about their patriotism who are always the most indecent and least patriotic of all.
