I agree with you. Electricity is the medium of energy storage for the future. Why use a highly volatile form of energy storage like hydrogen that requires an expensive new infrastructure investment, when you have an existing electric infrastructure that can be used safely? It does not make sense, especially with battery technology improving every year. Even now, we could do a lot more with batteries than we are currently doing, plug-in hybrids, the next step to full electrics.
