I've mostly seen the warrant issue mentioned. That's the one that is important to me. WRT data mining it is especially problematic, and I'd like to make sure the judicial review elements are satisfied- but as long as there are adequate safeguards, I'm for snooping on criminals. I doubt you will find anyone who isn't. In fact, I think the whole issue of people concerned about snooping which is in line with constitutional protections, is a straw man- I doubt you'll find anyone to argue it. That's why I asked. If you can't find anyone espousing it, it might not exist- and it certainly isn't a very prevalent viewpoint, I would think.
