<consumer recession> Here in the midwest, a lot of the talk around the holiday punch bowl was how to pay for the 2X heating bills this year.
My neighbor told me he became physically sick when he got his December heating bill. 2.5x his estimated bill for the month.

The consumer is getting tapped out, that is for sure.

There's a consumer recession getting underway, and the market has not only failed to discount it, but seems hell bent to price in another up cycle

This market has nothing to do with reality but everything to do with liquidity.
