So what is worse? A winter of rain and gray sky in Seattle or a hurricane, relentless heat and humidity filled summer in Florida?

"Not Nora Bailey, who moved to Seattle from northeastern France about 10 years ago. Bailey said the rain doesn't bother her as much as the unyielding grayness."

Agree with Nora. make that 23 days and the extended forecast suggest 10+ plus days more of this gloom.

Ton of snow in the mountains, flood warnings in major counties, high winds today, trees may be coming down cuz of the softness of soil, and Nora is on suicide watch...

All this is OK unitl it messes with my tee time...

Sorry for the political bent, but it is getting ridiculous, and I'm a little worried about the 100+ ft fir trees that surround my property. The soil is saturated and the winds are blowing today. The fir have very shallow root systems.

I do love the amount of snow we've been getting in the mts.........going up tomorrow and Thurs for some powder.
