What we can say about MID is that we all shoulda bought it eons ago!

Shack's HD the strongest thing on my screen today, even stronger than the oil patch (which is moving up, too, because today is, uh, a trading day!).

Personally, I think today's down will be a short lived event. Maybe the whole day, but I don't even know about that. But that's just me,

We should recall that this breakout from the low of a few days ago is still in line with what we expected to happen once the consolidation since Nov 23 would end.

Well, yes and no. Yes, many were expecting a fifth wave up of the October rally, but if we have only seen the first subwave of that motive wave, then many of the larger counts are probably not going to work (as you pointed out for the SPX ED scenario.)

Who knows, maybe we get a very sharp 2 here and this morphs into something less bullish than it feels right now.
