The experience factor is what the others lack. I'm always amazed at how a $30 billion mammoth like MSFT doesn't get it--either that or the leadership is too pigheaded to see it. BG just keeps playing that old saw about it being all about the software and hoping that everyone will agree with him if he says it enough times. I guess that's because the Windows and Office franchise is really all that's propping up the MSFT profit tent these days (a very big tent, I'll agree). Pitiful, almost. Ah well, thank God for small favours ;-)
