The thing to keep in mind also is starting again or cheating means you need to go through these last 6 days all over again. Unless your a masochist you want to do this only once if you can help it.

I'm surprised actually that you still crave them this bad. Perhaps the patch isn't such a good thing as it keeps you nicotined. I quit without and was physically ill for 2/3 days but by the 5 day point the craving was pretty will gone. Physical craving that is. I mentally still think about lighting one up but it won't happen.

I quit smoking about 15 years ago, but I still remember the horrible cravings, not to mention the moods! I was so bad, my son said, "Mom, I never thought I'd say this, but why don't you go back to smoking?"
