Some tips from 1998 cramer:

shout.net

Avoid battlegrounds. A walk in the park is better than a walk in a minefield.

Never buy stock in a company with accounting irregularities.

Never short on valuation.

Technology does not move stocks. Earnings move stocks.

Don't buy a stock for a month, or a quarter, after the company preannounces bad results.

Don't write covered calls.

Don't write naked puts.

Splits create shareholder value.
