I don't really follow this one but if the o/s had increased by 50% over the past month, I'd think the stock would be going down.

Apparently you don't because the stock tanked in December. It was blamed, as always, on the naked shorting. The numbers would belie that, not to mention the common sense of how the CEO could give himself a salary of $55K per month without selling stock. If you have a better theory, go for it.
