re: Knowing what I know about GM, they probably sold China their souls in order to be #1. Obviously, that's conjecture and not fact.

Could be... on the other hand, always being a little bit contrary, there MAY come a time when GM is a real bargain. Not worth buying right now, but worth watching.

As I recall, the Chinese were producing and selling clones of GM's entry level car before the first GM model rolled off the assembly line. GM's response was, well, we'll STILL sell all we can make! que sera!
