Very few Americans want extreme rightwing justices on the SC. Sadly, some 20% do, and they're a very noisy 20% who helped Bush steal the elections, but the vast majority don't.

I have seen enough to believe that Alito is lying. He is not a level-headed guy, he is an ideologue. He is pretending to be mild-mannered now but in the past he's been exposed as a rightwing radical. For instance, he has never ruled in favor of an indiviudual, only in favor of big corporations and the government. That should frighten all Americans who value their individual rights. Alito cannot be trusted with such power.

He is also too immature and seems like a bit of a pansy.
