Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

I am lost. A bunch of cash came in from here and there during the year-end and year-start period, and more is on the way. The problem is I need to place the cash astutely; the issue is I have no idea where to hide it.

No, QCOM is out of the question, as it is but a fox hole in the great big death match arena, soon to be cleared of occupants.

Checked out some Trinidad bonds (inherently backed by natural gas), though attractive relative to the US and EU and Japan variety, not enough to make a difference.

An interesting proposal crossed my desk yesterday.

A huge parcel of consolidated land on Koh Samui has been under friendly control since before the island got hot on the tourist map, and the original investors think they can be bribed to either vacate it altogether or joint venture with the group I am associated with.

We, in a collective sense, have the track record of law & structuring, finance, alliance formation, property development, master design, and hospitality management.

We, again in an aggregate meaning, ought to be able to launch televised and print media marketing effort on mainland China and Hong Kong and Macau (where 80+% of revenue from the blackjack players are of the big-hand variety, US$ 25k per big-hand), targeting people with moolah, a problem of where to place the moolah, and a great desire to participate in the good life.

We, once more in a group as a group, in theory can float the entire enterprise by injecting the schema into a publicly-listed shell, thus allowing the masses to participate in a good thing when we, meaning the core group, is good and ready.

This is one of those rare opportunities where one can feel that one's entire life has been a setup for "something like this".

I dunno. I must think, about the possible schema, likely convolutions, and probable intricacies.

In the mean time, I am watching my Yamana Message 21911655 bought at US$ 4.83 in late November, off-loaded 1/3 at Message 21969691 US$ 5.56 in mid-December, now just hit US$ 7.41 finance.yahoo.com

... to say that Yamana is a better investment than QCOM would be kind, and to claim that Yamana is a due-diligence-free no-brainer would be obvious :0)

Can Yamana go to US$ 15? Sure, why not, since there is no "correct price" for gold, and therefore no "fully valued" state for entities that look for gold ;0)

Chugs, J
