You're making a good point. I also noticed something like that -- last time this happened was when I looked in the mirror.... g/ng. I freely admit to being confused -- and wish best of luck to those here who do have a vision at present, and are making bets on it.

Sentiment - "technically" - by virtue of being neutral in the face of a rally, should be seen as bullish. But - "by virtue" of chart resistance (and, me being biased -g) - I think this may be one of those cases when the failure of "optimism" to increase with the rally may in fact turn out to be some kind of a "non-confirmation". I remember this happened in the past.

Anyways..... I'm still recovering from my 12 hour Southeast Asian jet lag, and from the imported gastroenteritis.... so, it wasn't a bad time to take a break...

PS - My wife has her own theory - she thinks the Dems and the media play down the good news since they don't want Bush to get credit for the recovery as we go into an election year. (many things my wife says I repeat only on an FWIW basis... -g. Now, I'm in trouble.. -ng)
