Years back he owned WHT and would vist the MNG board to bash it and other posters. His post never had any substance. But, he ended up making money in WHT. So now he believed he was an expert. After all he was "smarter" than all those who liked MNG (Miramar) better. I was shocked to find him making bullish post, with substance, or at least "facts". His reasoning was IMO still poor. He apparently sees things as either black or white, all good or all bad. BTW I am not much for conspiracy theories but if I wanted to acquire a large position in a small company I would buy up all I could an accept paying more for each subsequent block of shares. but then I would simply step away and let the market flounder and perhaps encourage some remorse among those who had not sold. See post at Yahoo. Staying out for a week or even buying some at the dips would be just fine. If I still wanted/needed more shares I would come back in in size and repeat the process. If I had a real competitor who also wanted the shares I would not do the above, but rather just continue buying. Yes, the above is just thinking out loud but it helps me believe that either the desired amount has been reached and the stock will decline from here until news is out. Or that buying will resume after the stock retreats enough to trigger the second loading up process. One can go back and check the volume by day in Nov. & Dec. and it would appear that stealth buying was going on with a great deal of care to not move the stock. Buys of 4 to 5 times average volume, then pauses, then buys. Then the start of just buying before large but infrequent buys let others see there was real interest. Still believe some news about the buyer will surface soon, for legal disclosure reasons.
