What resolution are you running at? If you don't run a LCD monitor at its rated resolution, it gets blurry.

LCDs come with specific resolution, that means there are a specific number of LCD dots across the screen. A CRT can light up dots anywhere within a line, so the resolution is more flexible. You may have the display settings set to a resolution different than optimal.
