Do you know if DoCoMo has completely converted to the WCDMA world standard?

I am fairly sure that any WCDMA handset will now work on Docomo's network. I'm not positive that a Docomo handset would be able to roam onto a WCDMA network in another country.

The problem for Qualcomm (and Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, etc.) probably isnt getting approval for Docomo's network anymore....but rather actually getting customers to buy the handsets. It wont be easy to break into the Japanese market. Sanyo's first FOMA handsets seems to have made zero impact there (never saw it on any best seller lists).
