But, ok. Assume they managed to do that. That would hurt, but it wouldn't destroy our society unless we did it ourself.

It's pretty sad when either side is now hoping for a nuke to go off on American soil. The left will say "I told you so! We're making the terrorists hate us!" The right will say "I told you so! We should have eradicated the problem at the source while we still had the chance."
