The US is equally conservative, liberal and moderate. About 30% of each. Remember, Gore beat Bush. Even if you don't believe the obvious fraud in Florida, look at the overall vote totals. Gore beat Bush by a ton of votes. There are still more democrats than Republicans and the vast majority of independents now disapprove of Bush. Something like 80%. The problem for Bushies is that they've veered so far to the right that now we have what would be the equivalent of Dennis Kucinich in power. The far right have way too much power for their numbers, and they got that power unethically and illegally. So now it's simply time to take that power back, and to punsih the offenders. No accident that every single politician now indicted or under investigation for serious crimes is a hardline rightwinger. No moderates involved whatsoever, no McCain types, just people you support. The unethical corrupt "anything to win" extremists.
