it's a huge issue, and the specifics need to be gone over with a fine tooth comb. If you're going to set up a program to do anything, there are a couple of ways of approaching it. You can start with someone's proposal and vet it. The better way, though, is to start by identifying your requirements and constraints, then develop a solution. Dale seemed to want to wait until someone lays out the former. He wants to see specifics and have at it. I was trying to do the latter. I don't remember us agreeing on phone conversations. I searched, and couldn't find anything directed to me about such an agreement. I don't think that you and I did. At least one mention was in a post to Dale, I think, which I cannot locate. I meant "we" generally, as in I agreed with you and Dale. I thought I excluded wiretaps of Americans explicitly but maybe I just steered the discussion to other things like data mining. Or maybe it was on another thread. Who knows.
