Since all the poor have left the country - the polls show the average Mexicans lot has improved. With numbers like that, his policies are a winner. :-)

It's worse than that. Illegal immigrants here are a significant source of foreign exchange and income to Mexico, through the money they send back. Cheap labor is a valued export of Mexico.

I've a friend that runs a granite and marble business with illegals. They desert him in Nov., to return to Mexico, where they are big shots in their villages, heros in pickups! They come back in the spring. This happens every year, all over Mexico and the US. He'd replace them with anglos, but the only people IN the trade now with experience are illegals.
