Perhaps I'm using "authoritarian" more as a term of art than I realized. It is commonly used in management analysis as I am using it. I never thought of it as purely a government thing. If you look in the dictionary, you'll find my usage. It's number one from Webster.

DMA...This may be just the reason for the divide right now.
It's not authoritarian unless the religious person uses the power of government to coerce you into professing his religious view.



There are many types of "religions"....one of them is Atheist. Right now, that "religion of Atheism" is being forced down everyone's throat.....
