I don't believe it plays out that way. Re: I've noticed at times in your posts that you tend to share the paranoia of the right. James Carroll doesn't belong to the right: So what? I didn't say conspiracy and paranoia was the exclusive provence of the right. The Pentagon is an obvious target.......I think its much more complicated than Carroll presents it. In any case, I think the Pentagon is ruled by the President and not the other way around. Maybe they can pull a fast one on the President because he is unfamilar with military operations and weaponry but to suggest that the Pentagon tells the president what to do.....I just don't buy it. ted
