LIES. The book "The Dirty Truth" tells the real story of Bush and Enron. Bush and Enron were almost the same thing in 2000. Their relationship goes way back and involves about 1.5 million in cash and favors. In 2000, Bush even ran campaign operations of out Enron Headquarters (Or I should say, ROve did) and got Enron to pay 150 K to Ralph Reed as an "energy consultant" to rally the wacko religious right types in South Carolina to smear John McCain, calling him a war criminal, coward, traitor, the same crap they hurled at Kerry. Enron also gave the Bush campaign free use of their several private jets and threw lavish parties for Bush-Cheney. Lay was the top Bush Pioneer and his biggest fundraiser. BTW: Now we see how Rove and Reed use and abuse the gullible Christian rightwing as their foot soldiers. They used the same for Abramoff to promote one Indian casino over another. Delay's chief of staff who then worked for Abramoff called their religious right "wackos" and suggested using them like puppets to do their dirty work.
