Bush and Enron were two peas in a pod. Read the book "The Dirty Truth" which details and 1.5 million in money and favors Enron and Lay gave Bush over the years, and how Bush repaid him by scrapping regulations which kept Enron from being able to gouge the public on energy prices. So what happened in 2000 when Bush was nominated? Enron started their gouging plan, aimed at the west coast, and with their Texas cronies, stole some 50 billion dollars. Bush-Cheney not oinly didn't complain, they applauded. Bush wanted Ken Lay as his Secretary of Treasury.
