You can only try to collaborate to set up reasonable oversight and then get on with your life. Making unreasonable charges and demands will only make his efforts more furtive.

The good news is probably that George W. Bush is not diligent enough to seek absolute power. The bad news is that there are plenty of diligent people wanting to give George W. Bush absolute power so that some benefits can trickle down to them and/or they can find some loopholes to participate in the abuse of such powers.

Until the day when they design the perfect government or find a benign dictator, checks and balances will have to be diligently, if not religiously, and however imperfectly maintained so that you can go on with your life.
