Actually i like biden too for the same reasons as Peggy but thats off topic. I think the signature event of the alito hearings is seeing Mrs. Alito breakdown ostensibly because of the brutal kennedy attack on her hubby. Teddy prattling on about womens rights at princeton can only bring back the memory of his allowing undergrad mary jo kopechne to die during that drunk driving gambit. Even if teddy is reformed, how can he have the balls to attack a clearly nice man in that way. The democrats have once again shot themselves in the foot and i would like to think that there are a few of them at least who will do the right thing and vote for alito.
