Which reminds me. The first question posed to Alito should have been: "Do you promise not to fall alseep while on the bench during a court session"? I have seen more than one judge sleep through testimony. BTW, I have also witnessed more than one congressman sleep through a meeting. Perhaps, it is in the genes. <g>

ROFL!!!

I've had several judges sleep during trial. I remember one
instance where I objected to some question. After I objected,
the room went dead silent, except for the judge's snoring.
The baliff rolled his chair over to me and said, say it again. I dropped my pen loudly on the tabletop and repeated
the objection....a groggy voice sustained it<g>
