I'm an expert on Enron. What do you want to know about them?

One thing you cannot dispute about Enron, they were the #1 supporters of Bush-Cheney and the #1 engineers of the phony energy crisis of 2000-2001 at the same time. When Bush came to power, it seems half his new administration had Enron ties, and Bush wanted Ken Lay as hisw Sectreary of Treasury (not yet knowing Enron was about to fall).

Bush-Cheney are therefore implicated in the energy gouging, which ripped off Americans for some 50 billion dollars.
They deserved to have been impeached right there.

Further proof is that Enron and Bush's RNC used the same PR point man, Ed Gillespie. There was 7 million spent by a secretive PAC run by Gillepsie and funded by Enron which had one purpose, to run phony TV ads blaming the energy crisis on democrats, mainly Grey Davis. Which then dovetailed into the destruction of Davis. The righwing may applaud that, though it gave us Arnold (whom no one likes now) but it was extremely corrupt and criminal. In fact, Bush-Cheney are responsible for the energy gouging because they could have stopped it, but instead used it and supported it.

What was the whole point of the Bush-Enron alliance? To deregulate the energy business so that there would be basically no rules (already weren't many) and so Texas and Saudi pals could gouge us until kingdom come, meanwhile stripping away all environmental protection and sucking up millions in political campaign money. All this is TERRIBLE for the American people and our environment.
