kerry used vietnam and it worked for him otherwise i think weld may have beat him.. kerry from the git go tried the same thing against Bush this time it didn't work.

of course remember Kerry was dying in new hampshire until ted kennedy gave over his staff to take charge of kerry and run him back up the pole. If not for ted kennedy we would have dean running against Bush. g

if Romney tried to run against kennedy he wouldn't have gotten out of the gate.


Romney did run against Kennedy in 1994. Gave him a good scare as I recall. Kennedy wasn't used to actually having to campaign, but he had to that time.
