It's probably already happened. It's not like we have many ways of finding out about abuses- and therein lies the problem- the raw police power of government, unchecked by judicial power, turned on the citizens of this country. The foreign torture centers and jails should remind everyone of the dreaded Star Chamber- which our founders had in their minds when they designed extensive protection for us to keep us safe from our own government- they knew what they were doing, those founders. Of course I'm probably a disruptor, so what do I know?
