"this culminated in determining for myself after I had weighed the sides for a very long time that Pat Buchanaan was a true american patriot, and told him so upon standing in a buffet line with him."

Pat will tell you he was snookered by holocaust deniers particulary those talking about the zyclon gas. He is also violently anti-neocon believing they stole the conservative movement from folks like him. Pat is certainly an american patriot as you say but one has to wonder how he took his hatred of neocons, and linked it to holocaust deniers and his cracks about the amen lobby during the gulf war which he also opposed. Cant an isolationist be one without blaming some jews for the neocon movement and others for hyping the holocaust??/

I have to respectfully disagree Steve. I have no problem "debating" issues of politics or the like. Was the war in Iraq proper? Help in the war against terror? Bad use of resources?

I also have no problem debating or discussing whether Israel's actions or the US's actions are warranted in a situation.

However, "debating" whether the Holocaust existed or whether it was warranted by actions of the victims is really not a debatable issue in my opinion. I would say the same, as others have mentioned, if the topic were "were slaves the victim of their own actions in Africa," or the like. Are women who are raped victims or is the crime warranted perhaps?

Anyway, I'll agree to disagree and respect your right to moderate as you see fit. So long as I'm not called forth by the bigot, I'll stop posting here.

Have a nice weekend.
