Seriously, if you want to use the courts, you should use a warrant. If you want the NSA to run open loop, then that's what you want. I'm not at all comfortable with that. I want a legal approach- even if it means we don't get to do the most effective thing (and that's arguable, because frequently what looks "effective" to a whack job black program intel person isn't alligned with reality), because, on balance, terrorists are much less omnipresent than the government, and less likely to bother me.
