Yes they are.

LEND is the most efficient operator in the subprime world. Their cost is usually low or lowest. Other metrix also would show them as best in class.

Secondly, they are not a REIT so they are not burdened by the desperate attempts to keep the dividends high.

There are all kinds of ways for these scamsters to disguise results, or hide problems. Just use nominal loss reserves for example, or fail to comment on late pays, delinquencies, or use similiar deceptions. I'm going to be listening to these calls and pouring over the results and 10-Qs looking for this, and to save time, it would be nice if others joined in?

Generally the scam is now to act like mortgages that are resetting are just dandy. Since the losses are somewhat down the road, these companies can act as if their shit doesn't smell. At least until the first warm day.
