I agree with you. I was just commenting on how easy it is in the US for isolationism to morph into some form of anti-semitism. Look at the pre-WW2 isolationists. To this day i do think that Pats strict catholic upbringing in a time when the church was still not kind to jews (Pope Pius and the whole jews killed christ issue) and later on when pat's failed competition with neocon jews in the war of ideas in the conservative movement has a lot to do with him sliding in this direction which manifested itself in anti-israel, anti-gulf war, anti-bush 41, isolationism.
