Pat went nuts back then. It is my understanding that he since has distanced himself from this crap. In a post to steve i talked about what i thought were the roots of this descent into racism. I do think he is over it but it is hard to fully trust one who has travelled down that road. At that point in the 80s and 90s pat was so traumatized by the commies that he went so far as to say in effect that we should have let the nazis win. soviets and nazis are equally bad to folks who live under their rule and the soviets may have even killed more people but essentially stalinism was as much defensive as it was offensive while nazism was a cancer whose only raison d'etre was to spread to worldwide control. I remember somewhere reading that hitler fully expected to wipe out the japanese after they had split up the world between them. It was racially driven at its core. The Soviets were not that dangerous at that time. The arab fascists if allowed to get their sea legs could become another nazi type cancer.
