Iran is no threat to us. The real issue is its upcoming oil exchange and the practice of trading oil in euros.

We could either bomb them and add more fuel to the fire (imagine how the Shiite supporters in Iraq would react, for instance -- are we ready to deal with that?) Or, we can sit with EU nations and come to a compromise with regard to dual-currency pricing for oil.

I would opt for the latter course. That is not nothing.
