Bush and FEMA failed during and after Katrina. You can't spin that. We all saw it. The evidence is clear and in.

Bush's despersate damage-control speech today with his phony corn-pone accent and false promises to spend 85 billion, making it sound like a bribe ("please like me again, I'll pay you") misrepresented the facts totally, made it sound like FEMA did a "great job, Brownie" and was just typical of the deliberate dishonesty of this president. He will say anything, no matter how inaccurate, to improve his poll numbers, but when we need him, he's AWOL.
