One other interesting point. When Pakistan tested its nukes they did it near iranian border, not indian because iran was not a nuke power whereas india might have been a bit pissed off. Iranian people as a whole, not just mullahs but students as well learned a lesson and dont want to be second class powers. Personally i think it makes sense for a democratic iran to have nukes if there is no denuclearization of pakistan. And of course for pak to do it, india has to and for india to do it china has to and so on.
