Nope, no vigilante here. At least in the common sense.

Vigilante's stay alert and watchful, and unless the danger stops on their own doorstep, they don't take matters into their own hand.

That said, if you were the mayor of your city...and knew that there was an attack imminent, what would you do? Call someone's else's child and have them protect you, or would you try to help them protect everyone?
