I'm too afraid to ask why the context matters. Second, what does that have to do with the Patriot Act, which we were talking about. Karen, it's common practice around here to respond to the post to which your comments apply. It's also common practice around here to offer some text from that post as a segue. Together they provide the necessary context for the comments. In this case I responded to a post from you to E where you challenged her for a link. You can see both of those clearly in my post--the segue and the link to your message. The Patriot Act had nothing to do with E's post, your post, or my post.
