Incidentally, as it says in the article, he missed the Junos, but he did make it back up here for the Canadian part of that Live Aid thing last summer: I don't know if it was deliberate on the organizers' part or not, but the Canadian show ended a few minutes after the one in Philly did, so the last song of the whole shebang was Rocking in the Free World.

(Well, except for O Canada, it was Canada Day as well -- but he even managed to make that sound good -g)
