He says he will run for president in 08. I wonder if he knows Karl? or the CEO of diebold? Either way the people who like Bush will probably love him.

From the time of my birth, I've been involved in politics. My
mother's side of the family - Brennan have held political
positions in Union County, New Jersey since the late 1890's.
The Brennan Family from my understanding were friends with
the Kennedy Family from the time they lived in Ireland.
My birth first name is John. I was named after John F.
Kennedy. My grandmother named her children (my mother,
aunts and uncles) Robert, Joe, John, Edward, Peggy, Rose,
Mary and Elizabeth.
My political career started in 10th grade when I became the youngest
member ever of St. Hedwig's Holy Name Society. As a result, I had
breakfast meetings one Sunday a month with a political
leader/politician from either Elizabeth, Union County, New Jersey or the
Federal Government.
In January 1980 while at Elizabeth High School, a school director
challenged my residence in Elizabeth. At the time there was a political
fight brewing, and my uncles were not liked by some Democrats. Using
political connections from my family, I quickly squashed the attack, and
had the person fired.
I was one High School Sophomore who had political power, and was not
afraid to use it. A year later, another attack was made against me, and
the person met with the same fate.
On 28 Oct 81 I entered Active Duty in the Army. However, while in the
Army, I was not politically active.
In 1988, my family explained to me the importance of following in their
footsteps. Though I am a great admirer of JFK and the whole Kennedy
family, at the time I thought President Reagan was the greatest leader
in modern time. Reagan was not only a great President, but a great
symbol of the Republican Party.
Though I believed in many of the ideals of the Democrat Party, I was
and still am totally opposed to abortion as a form of birth control. I
believe it should be used only in certain medical situations, rape and
incest.
Additionally, I have always done things my way. My political career
would be no different. I wanted to make sure I was known politically for
my own actions, not that on the Brennans. So I got involved with the
Elizabeth Republican Party.
I was blessed to have great leaders and teachers from the Elizabeth
and Union County Republican Party: Peter Kobylarz, Retired Union
Mayor Greg Muller, Former US Congressman Bob Franks, County
Chairman Frank X. McDermott and Political Advisor William McClintock.
These people gave me a very wise and strong political foundation upon
which I have never forgotten. Though I am no longer a registered
Republican, a lot of my political values are.
From 1988 to 1991, I was heavily active in the Union County Republican
Party, and was elected a District Chairman.
From July 1992 until April 1996, I was very active in Hillsborough
County (FL) Republican Party. I was elected as City Chairman for
Temple Terrace in November 1992. In 1994, I was blessed to work on
Jeb Bush's first campaign for Governor. Though Jeb did not win, he
showed me the true meaning of a man of character.
In May 1996, I returned home to Elizabeth, New Jersey and was the
Campaign Manager for my ex-wife Lourdes' campaign for NJ State
Assembly. I discovered that a lot of political deals were being done in
Union County, that would have made it impossible for her to win. So, I
pulled her out of the 1997 election.
Between May 1996 to February 1999, I stayed very active in Union
County Politics. I worked not only to help Republicans win seats, but to
help my Democratic friends win seats on the Elizabeth School Board. In
the Summer of 1988, I returned to Tampa to work with members of the
Hillsborough County Republican Party to get Jeb elected as Governor.
This time we were successful.
In December 1998, I decided to run for the 2000 US Senate Seat in
Jersey. NJ Governor at the time, Christine Todd-Whitman decided she
wanted to run for the US Senate. As a result, the Republicans in Union
County and Jersey were backing her. I had found out through my family
connections and scrying that she would not run for the Senate like she
had said she would.
So, in April 1999 after receiving a phone call from leadership of the
Reform Party, I decided to run for the 2000 Senate seat as a member of
the Reform Party, with the understanding if I won, I would declare
myself a Republican after being sworn in. They also appointed me as
Union County Reform Party Chairman. However, I also stayed involved
with the Republican Party and worked on an Elizabeth School Board
election.
In the Summer of 1999, I found out that my mentor Bob
Franks was going to run for Senate in 2000 after Christie
had resigned from the race. Bob was a good friend and
taught me a great deal. So, I decided to run in Indiana
against US Senator Richard Lugar as a member of the
Reform Party. However, as a result of the stupid actions
of Jesse Ventura, and the greed of other Reform Party
leadership, I was informed by the National Vice-
Chairwoman at the time, that the Reform Party was like
the "Titanic." So, I resigned from the race and the Reform Party.
In January 2000, I called Union County (NJ) Chairman Frank McDermott,
and humbled myself to ask that I'd be allowed to run for NJ's 10th
Congressional Seat. He graciously allowed me to do so. We had thought
that all was fine with my candidacy. However, McDermott was retiring
and those who opposed him, opposed me. Hence, the Rahway City
Chairwoman rigged the County Convention on 1 Apr 00 to get her
candidate Dirk Webber the line for the 10th Congressional Primary
Election. I was livid. After the convention, I spoke to my sister Kathleen,
and she advised me to allow Webber to run, and show the Republican
Party just how much they would regret what was done to me. In the
General Election in November 2000, Webber suffered one of, if not the
worst Congressional defeats in New Jersey history.
In December 2001, I was going to run for NJ's 10th Congressional Seat
unopposed by any Republican. However, after attending the funeral for
a dear friend (Bill Kincaid) of mine and Jeb's in Tampa, his widow
Margie after the service asked me if I would be interested in running for
Florida's 11th Congressional Seat against Jim Davis. She told me I
would be running on Jeb's re-election line, and have party support. This
was contrary to what i would have in NJ. Due to my children living with
my ex-wife in Tampa, I had a part-time residence in Florida. So, I
accepted the offer.
In January 2002, only 12-days after undergoing major internal surgery,
as a result of actions against me by my former fiancée, I attended the
Florida State Republican Convention.
I was so looking forward to running for Congress and helping Jeb get
re-elected. However, my former fiancée filed a false and malicious
complaint against me with the Federal Election Commission. The FEC
did not vindicate me of her false charges until August 2003. Hence, she
forced me to withdraw from the Congressional race.
In 2004, I was once again going to run for Florida's 11th Congressional
Seat. However, I would have ran on President Bush's re-election line,
and I didn't (and still don't) share his beliefs about the War in Iraq, and
how this country should be run. Hence, I filed with the FEC to run for
President as an Independent-Republican. The FEC approved it on 8 Mar
04.
I knew I was going to lose, but at least I ran and expressed my views
against Iraq and the need to protect religious beliefs, farm lands,
education and the rights guaranteed by the Constitution.
In August 2005, I started my own political party: The VWP Party. VWP
stands for: Vampyres, Witches and Pagans.
In September 2005, I filed my paperwork with the FEC to run for the
Presidency in 2008. No matter if I win or lose this campaign, I will run
for president in 2008!<b/>
