It's illogical to vote against oneself. Possibly women that vote Republican simply don't have a strong set of values and strong convictions of advancement for their own gender, or simply lack the awareness or realization of how the Republican laws hurt women one by one. Just learned about a law that hurts predominantly women businesses from a friend yesterday. Most Republicans seem stuck in the mud and equate "advancement" as some old-issue like abortion from the 50s. These people need to get a move on it (or retire from politics), so the rest of this country can move forward and actually advance. Regards, Amy J
