Wrong. Laura Bush was a known pot-smoker in those days. She was let off because she was from a nice family. In the state of Texas at the time pot was a serious criminal matter. Some people have gotten 40 years in prison for pot in Texas.

How do you know Laura wasn't stoned out of her mind?

And how do you know Teddy was too drunk?

Morally, these two cases are no different. Are they?
