You did good!

Guideance is what most teachers are looking for out of the parents. They know what the kids are capable of because they have them in their class rooms day in and day out.

When my oldest boy was in kindergarden, the teacher assigned the students to paint a pumpkin for Halloween. You should have seen all the fancy pumpkins!! It was quite clear the parents painted as the kids watched. My son was the only one in her class that painted it all by his own self. When it was all said and done, he got the prize for the best pumpkin. The parents were none too happy at this and the teacher explained that this was a test for the kids as well as the parents. She said, I told you all in writing this was to be your child's project. I know YOU know how to paint, I wanted to see what they can do.

She was a great teacher!
