The media likes power as well and will go to any length to disrupt truth, exaggerate facts and distort events in order to be "first". At least, that is the media in the USA. Well, how unfortunate you are. But just stop watching Fox and listening to Limbaugh, and the distortion you experience will decrease hugely. Meanwhile, let me know when these media power-grabs go to the extent of the creation of private espionage networks, including illegal wiretapping, abduction, imprisonment, rendition and torture. In other words, I'm neither impressed nor interested by partisan diatribes about 'the MSM', penned by Rove. Especially when these are completely irrelevant also. The media are not the problem, and I think the attempts to discredit them come from the same sources asserting their limitless authority over all that you hear.
